| Old Atari B&W Monitor - Replacement Options? |

I am located in N. California. While the neck of the monitor used to glow when it worked, it now simply makes a zapping sound and flickers with a blue light. A new cap kit was put on it previously, so those parts are fine. |

That's been my expectation - the tube is dead. I'm willing buy a new monitor to replace it, cost is not the primary concern, but don't know if it can be replaced or, if it can, with what. Any other suggestions on replacement? Thanks for the advice so far. |

Tubes generally vent only when you do something really bad to them, like jar them. Ask on RGVAC if anyone has either a replacement tube or monitor. |
