Ok now apostrophes won't show up in my signature or the text under my avatar...

In both places it's showing in the place where there used to be apostropes,

Wow, you are the only one experiencing this problem. We have many users with a Win98/Mozilla-Firefox combination that has no issue. This must be something with your system peculiarity. I see no reference anywhere on this sort of issue.

There's some sort of weird double entity encoding going on.

The apostrophe is encoded correctly...

...then the ampersand in the encoding is getting entity encoded resutling in this...

I've successfully added apostrophes to my sig with no problems so I guess the problem must lie with your browser or something.
