Cat5 stinks for cabling... Well... not really... Solid core wires stink for cabling until you solder... but have you tried the two sided crimp on connectors... There is a name for them... And they work. I got a box of 100 for a few bucks years ago. I did one control panel using them... But now I'm moving towards using screw in terminal blocks. But these are part of my hotswap setup. |
