Need suggestions on buying a laptop

That's another thing I'm looking for; something thats silent. If it has a non 'M' type processor (pentium or athlon), won't it run louder?

I use a Toshiba Satellite with a P4, and it's pretty quiet most of the time.

Do you work in education? If so, Dell offers more rebates for teachers and such. You can usually get another 6 or 12% off.
