Has anyone had an issue with oversized disconnects?

Sephroth57:

if theyre non insulated, i would either crimp them down or just throw a dab of solder on them

crashwg:

I had to tap every single one of mine with a hammer to get it to a tension I thought was acceptable...  It was as simple as tap-tap, check fit, tap-tap...

HaRuMaN:

The ones I got from Peale were somewhat loose, I had to squeeze them a bit to make them tight.

Trimoor:

I gave up on quick connects and just soldered the wire to the switch.  Its much faster and easier.  I wish I did it earlier.

Until you have to replace one.

It takes all of one second to pinch the quick connect a little with a pair of pliers. Quick connects are not all going to be open the exact same amount to start with anyway. It is not like they are a highly tuned pieced of scientific equipment. We are talking mass produced, bulk packaged, little pieces of light metal that slides over another piece. Not much harm can be done in a little pinch.
