anyone ever convert an atari mcr power supply to current standard?

I have a tron with a burnt out power supply.  I am hoping that that it didn't take anything else with it.  I have seen 2 converters online that enable use of the current standard arcade power supply.  I beleive the trons was called a mcr2?  Please correct me if I'm wrong.  Anyone here ever done this?  If so, did you have that "hum" problem I have heard about with the conversion?

Thanks!

Steve

Ken Layton:

No, I haven't done it, but you can buy the power supply conversion at Wizzes Workshop.

Thanks Ken!  The last one I saw, I think was closer to $100.  Don't remember where I saw it though.  I might pick this one up in the next month or so!

PS- If I do, I will let you know how it works!
