What's the best way to install a PC monitor in this CAB?

Thanks trdbace,

A quick question...

"i put more 2x4 rails in between the monitor and the sides of the cabinet to keep it from moving around - thats it..."

Are these used to keep the monitor from moving side-to-side?

Does anyone else have any other ideas on this? Are there other ways people have mounted their monitors this way?

Thanks again

Echo25:

I have the same cab.

Exactly - although i think some would say i took the easy way out - my monitor weighs like 80lbs or something, it isn't going anywhere...

You're going to have an absolute blast making your own machine...good luck

Echo25: Wow! That CAB looks GREAT! It looks likes the one I have is the exact same cabinet as yours. Nice job. The before and after pics really show the work that went into it. I like what you did with the control panel. The cabinet I am working with came with a metal control panel that looked like it had been badly MAMED. I am rebuilding a wood two player, 4 button CP with a Ultimarc Trackball. Hope it all fits...

This cab is on my brother's budget so I'll probably add just a little bit of artwork to it (still trying to convince him...).

thrdbase: Thanks for that. BTW...Which cab is perfect? Thats the beauty of this hobby, always ways to improve what you did last... I built my first a year ago, and am still tinkering with it...

Raven..:

What size monitor are you putting in there?
