Hat or no hat, I'll bet you've still got a bruised melon. I busted a window on a customer's car once when I was working for a towing company (Contours are a PITA to do an unlock on), I heard the tool chip the bottom of the glass and that was all she wrote....POW! Shattered safety glass everywhere, what a mess. |

How old is the wagon? If it is at least 10 years old you can just go to the junkyard and get a complete tailgate/back window/whatever for cheaper than the glass shop will charge you for the piece of glass. Heck, if the wagon is old enough then you can get a complete parts car for less. |
