Maybe for their big motorized machines, but not on regular cabs. There was a formula that worked for arcades, and everybody used it. It is a matter of preference, and what works for the individual building the cab. I built a cab to play a huge variety of games, and I found the angle to be far more comfortable. In my design, I was not at all concerned about floor space, which was a concern for machines that had to fit into full arcades. They couldn't plan for having the players standing at a 45 |
