those mini itx boards.. do they use a standard power supply or do they sell mini ones that would fit into a small case. if i wanted to run off batteries what kind would i be needing? that OQO thing is kool but way too much money. |

They are 55 to 100-or-so watt power supplies. |

If you want handheld, maybe you should be looing at a PalmPilot type of device. There are MAME builds for them, too. |

Yea i guess but what speed of palm will run nes, genesis, mame, snes??? and have games fit on it?? |

If you need it to run 8 different emulators with complete romsets and play every game at full speed, then it's probably not going to happen on a PDA. If you want MAME to run some classic games, then it's not so tough. I don't personally have a PDA, so I can't say exactly what you need, but my buddy had MAME running on one like 5 years ago, so it can't be that hard. |
