I don't know what the forums policy is on mentioning other sites, but look at some of these babys........

And I didn't think that this was like, the real deal. I think most of these projects with little screens were temp fixes when they ran out of money spending it on making the cab, and are planing on upgrading it when they get the free money.

Couldn't disagree with you guys more.

25" arcade/SVGA monitors are expensive. If you're planning to go the TV route, fine, but not everyone wants to go that route for a variety of reasons.

If I were building a cabinet on a limited budget, the monitor is exactly what I'd skimp on, because it's one of the easiest things to upgrade later. I'd build my cabinet sized to fit the monitor I eventually want, and make do with whatever I could afford for now. A 25" sized cabinet with a 19" sized monitor makes good sense if your money is tight.

You build a cabinet with the monitor you have, not the monitor you wish you had. :)

Did someone wakeup on the wrong side of the bed this morning? We can't make a thread about how *some* of us find those little monitors kinda funny looking? Just relax, it's not a "YOU SMALL MONTIOR FREAKS NEED TO GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM" thread! It's light hearted, keep it that way! :)
