Nope, you'll need the latest version I think (use {music} flag)...I must've added (and ditched) that option in one of the recent betas.

I'm a huge Oingo Boingo found, and I think I found the perfect background music for my front end:

From the album "The Forbidden Zone", there is a short, zany, and very catchy instrumental called "Cell 63".

Danny Elfman is the guy who often works with Tim Burton on movie soundtracks (think motif of Beetlejuice, Nightmare before Christmas, etc)

No music. Occassionally my body will make sounds. I can't figure out why nobody will play with me.
Havok:
Well, I guess I go against the trend - I have trance music playing with a real high energy level that comes on quick - right when AtomicFE fires up. Everybody that has been over to play on my cab loves it...
Turnarcades:
I do none of the above.
I use some basic polyphonic versions of game music, which switches depending on the emulator menu currently being run. For MAME I have a fast techno track from Dancing Stage (DDR), then for SNES I use the Mario World music, Megadrive the Sonic music, Game Gear the Shinobi music, Gameboy the Tetris music etc.

Works for me, and the music kicks in quicker cos the file sizes are small!

I always liked the Killer Instinct attract sequence music too, which I sometimes use for MAME. I think lyrics or actual music ruins the arcade experience.
