Is the Milwaukee Auction worth a road trip?

Crazy Cooter:

What's a ballpark guess at how many sub $100 machines with good sideart/glass will be at the Milwaukee super auction?  It's a 5-1/2 hour drive so I'm just wondering if it's worth it.  I'd be dragging a trailer of course.

Mainly I'm hoping to grab 3-4 machines out of the non-working row that can be cleaned up enough to go into mine & my brothers houses.  Think it's worth the drive?

At the one in december, if I remember correctly, only 3-4 total machines in that row went for under 100.  that is what I was there looking for, and I came home pretty empty.  I live in Elkhorn, which is about 45 min away from the auction.  If you want more details, I'd be happy to share.

Nuts.  That's what I was afraid of.  Glad I asked though.

mrGrinch98:

I would be willing to share costs to go down to the auction.  If interested, email me at tsatorius@yahoo.com.

Cooter, if it'll help you, I'd be willing to let you buy whatever you wanted and store it at my house for several years or until you forgot about it, whichever comes first  ;D

Seriously, though, I've been to the last 3 out of 4 auctions, and there aren't many that sell for under $100, but there ARE a bunch in the 200-300 range....I've seen very few that don't work - about 2-5 per auction.

I'll be going later that day....at LEAST not until 1-ish when they'll have those ridiculous slot machines sold off!
