Is there a way to rip flash files off the internet?  I found a game I would like to play on my "internet-less" second computer.  I WILL NOT distribute the file and only want to use it for personal gaming.

hmm theres definately a way, but i forget how =P

i remember i saved all the happy tree friends episodes somehow, i think i saved the html page and then open them with IE? try that maybe... its been a while

Thanks.  I'll try.

saint:

Using Mozilla:

View, Page Info.
Click "media" tab.
Scroll down all the various media items on the page until you find the .swf file.
Save as.

Or, you can use Mozilla to just save the page that the flash program is on.

One way I've been able to do it:

View the source for the page that has the file you want to save.  Find the path in the source to the .swf file and copy it into an html editor, and make a link with that path as the target.  When you load the page, you can right-click on the link and Save As...

There might be easier ways to do it...that's just something I found that works.
