| Mame cab... Question about Jamma |
| (1/1) |
| mbmsog:
Hey i've built a mame cab. but would like to be able to hook up a jamma board to it... is this possible? |
| LsLSpamMatt:
mbmsog, I'm wondering the same thing, as I have a jamma board. I think you can only do this if you have an Arcade monitor in your cab. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Matt |
| grueinthebox:
Yes, arcade games require arcade monitors. You'll only be able to run a JAMMA board in your home built cabinet if you built your cabinet as a JAMMA cabinet, then installed a PC in there using something like a J-PAC. Would require a standard resolution arcade monitor, proper arcade power supply and JAMMA spec'd wiring harness, first and foremost. Short answer: if you built the cabinet yourself and you're having to ask this question, you can't run a JAMMA board in your cabinet. |
