Gunstar Hero:

Not that I remember... but it has been awhile.

Yup. I checked KLOV. No way is that a Smash TV.

It looks like a Mortal Kombat to me...

?

yeah that looks like it. It shouldnt be to hard to find a old mortal kombat thats damaged or not working. Does anyone know if its hard to get the control panel off of these cabinets? Id like to make a larger one. I looks like it would all come off in one piece then I could just bolt my new one on.

paigeoliver:

Why not just buy a 25" cabinet that already has a larger panel? A converted Konami 4-player cabinet will be about the same price.

muell67:

I really like the shape of this cabinets. it seems like all the 4 player cabinets ive seen have the screen tilted back farther wich I do not like, and I like how the front of this cabinet by the coindoor sticks out past the sides. Do you know of any similar possibly midway game that uses this design and are also 4 player. Also if its not to hard to replace the control panel box I would rather build one myself so I can go with the layout I want and dont have to worry about patching any holes. Hope fully they will have a auction in my area soon. I think someone said March in bellevile il.

paigeoliver:

You should be able to build a new one for it easy. I never owned THAT cabinet before, but the panel comes off my 4player Konami cab without too much trouble.

BELLEVILLE!

I didn't realize you were local.

There MIGHT be a january belleville auction, some years there is, some there isn't. But NEVER, EVER, EVER go to an auction thinking you are going to come home with a specific item. I have been going for a long time, and the only time I ever came home with the exact item I went to buy was my first one, in which I went to buy a dead Pac-Man type cabinet, and I did, for $25, and it was the second freaking game sold.

I went to the last auction looking for a big control panel cabinet and the pickings were slim. There were maybe a dozen of them, and they were almost all mint, and the one that wasn't mint had a MESSED UP screen. All of them went way too high. So I just bought one on ebay (local) the next day.

Bidding can be real fierce on the deluxe cabs if they are in short supply, as there is almost always a BUNCH of mamers there, all looking for that "Mortal Kombat" or TMNT cabinet. There was a DEAD NBA Jam that went close to $400 last auction, wasn't even in that  great of shape.

If you just want A cabinet, then I am in Florissant, MO (63031) and I have cabinets and/or full games available right now.
