New England BYOAC Meet
« on: November 16, 2004, 11:22:58 am »
With 77 days between meetup #1 and #2 we're a little overdue for a new meetup don't you think?

If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

Indeed I did!  But not at the meet.

I got that monitor working finally.  Cap kit and a replaced pot later.  Grand total: $20 including parts and gas to pick it up.

I'm interested as well...december is crazy month though, might be better off adding another 30 days to that counter and trying for january since it's a 'dead' month.

Ed's.....place is closed for the winter ...now what ?

Bummer dude!  Does the whole comunity just up and leave or something?  When is Ed's open for buisness again?

As for January...  Whatever, this thread was more intended to see what sort of reaction I would get, kinda get a feel for what everyone thinks, ya know.  It'll happen when it happens even if that's not untill spring or whatever.

I'm offering to have the after party at my place but be forewarned that I live in an apartment that's not exactly huge, but it's probably big enough for the amount of people that came to the first two meets + a couple more.  Oh and seating would probably be a problem too!  On the positive side my neighbors that are directly connected aren't realy too bad and probably would be pretty nice about things.  Also I live like 2 minutes off of I93 in Concord which is south of Funspot and therefore on the way home for most.

Whatever!  Feel free anyone to suggest something else or not I don't care.  I'm just bored out of my gourd and a meet up would be fun!

I've gone up a few times the past month or two and could probably make it again.
As long as this time all the games are available for play.   ;)

PS crashwg I haven't forgot about the pins you need and I have looked for them.  I moved and lots of stuff is still packed.  This weekend I'm going to rip open all the boxes in the garage and find them.

The admins took it down.  With some prompting they may bring it back.  See the site threads for more on that.

As for your new avatar, I liked the old one better.  Either that, or use the evil monkey from "Family Guy".  The evil monkey is teh r0x0r!!!!1

He didn't just come for the steak tips... it's just a good bonus and extremly tasty!  Unfortunatly I doubt Chad will be comming this time as he is in Job-Core somewhere 8 hours north of here in Maine.

I'm not too sure it's going to be all that fun if we don't have a place to hang out for a few hours after our gameplay...  What does everyone else think?  I mean games are fun and all, but I've got 10,000 on my computer already ya know.

By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

I know he didn't only come for the steak tips ...LOL

I agree hanging out for a while is always good but I am sure we can figure something out, once we get a head count

Yeah, we've got a couple of months to prepare for this thing. A hang-out spot shouldn't be too hard to figure out, I'm more worried that the weather could be a little unsavory for the long drive. Fingers crossed!

Yup, in January there's always a chance of snow.  Let's play it by ear, and keep track of the weather.

As for another place to hang, I remember a mall not too far away.  We had an AGM meet there, and hung out @ the mall to get some food.

Was it the outlet mall in Tilton?  Steeplegate?
