As for the Slider controls you can close that one with a code of "ID10T"...my bad.

The both sliders work as you said, I have some resolution challenges and didn't see the numbers at the end of the sliders.

...just didn't want you to waste time on the other "non" issue.

Thanks.

Great to hear you believe you found it....looking forward to testing and/or the new release.....

Thanks for letting me know!  Sounds like I may have to do a couple tweaks re resolution....what were you running it at?

Anyway, if you want to try out the latest update, 2.7.1 is now online!   ;D

800 x 600 on a 35" TV (S-Video)  (not my jukebox).....
Seriously....not your issue at all...I run at a low resolution 640x480 or 800x600 on my PVR setup because type is so hard to read in Windows at higher resolutions, but since I use this setup for my movie player, Beyond TV and now SK Jukebox it works fine at 800x600.  I just needed to shift the options box over a little.

I'll download and give the new version a whirl.....Thanks for your efforts....truly amazing!

Okay, I here's what I see now:  I set the top slider to "10" and the bottom slider to "5" and hit Save.  Program starts good, 10 seconds of touching nothing gets the SS started, then  5 seconds later a scroll, 5 seconds later scroll, etc.....so working as it should....BUT if I touch the mouse (or wireless keyboard trackball in my case) which shows nothing in SK (because I have mouse support disabled) the SS stops working completely.  I tested a couple of times in hopes it was me, but I don't think so.  On my jukebox where there is no mouse this is not an issue, but on my other setup with a wireless keyboard/tracball there's always a chance of touching/moving it.  So for some reason a mouse movement stops all SS activity.  Hope that helps.....sorry about that.   ::)

OK, at least it's getting there!  lol....

Does it work fine if you press a key to stop it scrolling?  Is it just when you use the mouse to stop the scrolling that it's an issue?

Yes, I just tried it again and if I don't touch the trackball/mouse the behavior is as expected, 10 seconds to start, 5 seconds between scrolls until I push a button, then back to 10 seconds, then 5 second intervals.

Moving the mouse stops the SS altogether...BUT if I then do a keypress (increase volume) it starts working again with 10 seconds to start, 5 second intervals.

Note: These time intervals are just for testing, I wouldn't want it to kick in quite that fast, but it's good for these quick user tests.....

Did notice that when the screensaver starts (the 10 second interval) it takes a little more effort to paint the screen for the first scroll.  That seems new, but it could be me.  I have quite a few things running, but it's a P4 2.6 with 768 ram.  Hope that info helps.

SalmonKing:
Thanks, that should give me enough to work on, I guess I'm not resetting the normal screen saver timer on a mouse move.  As for the first scroll, not sure there as all I am doing is telling the program 'press the right key'....nothing different there  ;)
