My girlfriend has been helping me build my bartop the entire time.  She also bugs me about when I'll have time to work on the upright, and will ocassionally ask me to play a game of Xmen with her (which is what the current upright is).

I think I'll keep her :)

menace:

hey and I was just thinking I was the lucky one

Her:  so what are you going to do with this cocktail cabinet?
Me: oh I don't know fix it up and sell it I guess
Her: why can't we just keep it and put it in the front room
Me: <gasp> you so rock
Her: it's so true...

conversation last night after she finished staining the cabinet.  I'm so lucky....

My GF is affraid to help me because she knows that I am a perfectionist and if it's even a little wrong I'll get pissed!  Just a couple days ago I was trying to hold a piece of MDF in a specific spot and drill a hole at the same time, I asked her to drill the hole for me and it took her like a whole minute to drill the one hole because she was going so slow.  The piece had a lot of tension on it so my arms were hurting by the time she was done.  I thought it was a simple task that no one could screw up... Guess I was wrong!

Why, did the hole end up in the wrong spot?
