You can always just uncase the sucker, and then it should fit in any big cabinet. I am about to shoehorn a 27" monitor vertically in a classic 19" cabinet. |

Anyway about uncasing the TV, are there any dangers to that? I mean I would take the proper precautions but I mean while it's in there and on should I have anything to worry about? Would I need shielded speakers with it uncased? Any modifications needed to a TV without a case or will it sit on the monitor shelf perfectly? |
| paigeoliver:
When uncased you will have to mount the tube on a piece of wood, and the monitor chassis on another piece of wood. |

One thing paige forgot to mention is discharging the tv. Would be a really good idea to read the follow page http://www.arcadecontrols.com/arcade_monitors.shtml#discharging Hope this fixes up and concers you have about opening up your tv. I've done this, its a bit scary the first time, but keep one hand in your pocket and you'll do fine. ZZzzzzaapp! :o |
