WTF is all this politics?!

I wouldn't worry.  You can't expect it to disappear the day after the election.  If Kerry had won you'd get a bunch of nastiness from Drew and Fred and Dartful and TA Pilot, but after a while the sharp pain becomes a dull ache.

Have a little patience and they'll disappear (though, don't be surprised when we get a "should we privatize social security" thread and a "is it really a good idea that Bush is now doing surgical air strikes on Iranian nuclear reactors" thread).

The vocalization of election frustrations will disappear just like the 2000 election has become a non-issue (well, to everyone but Dartful, who still brings it up on a regular basis).

I resent being included in your jab, but it's your opinion.

I at least have a post here showing I was willing to accept Mr Kerry as President, and offer him congratulations, should he have won.  Say what you wish, my words have spoken for me.

Don't take it personally.  As you are participating in the current post-election threads, I presume you would be participating in the post-election threads that would have existed after a Kerry win.  My suggestion that there would have been nastiness from conservatives in the event of a Kerry win meant to imply that the nastiness is currently coming from liberals, which would, of course, include myself.

All I meant is that all this political bickering that Minwah is refering to in his original post should have been expected regardless of which side won and can probably be expected to die out before long.  I suspect that you would have been in on it (as I have been and would be) regardless of which side won.  Nevertheless, my apologies if this assumption is bad.
