SirPoonga:

I was listening to the radio yesterday about how NY has their own view on the world and can't understand why Bush was re-elected.  They don;t understand why you'd allow anyone in ofice that allowed their city to be attacked.

The county map does shows that high population areas support Kerry.  Being someone who lives out in the country I understand supporting Bush vs Kerry.  Bush has a better country living point of view.

For example, a big issue is guns.  Yeah, in high populated areas you don't need guns so pepople there are going to support someone who is againsts guns.  Out in the country you are going to have more reasons to own gun, including more hunters.  Kerry was against guns so that's one issue against him vs Bush.
There are many agricultural issues too and such.

Wouldn't religion and homophobia be much more an issue out in the country too?

fredster:

This thread has broken down into nonsense again.

I haven't seen the opinion poll from the extra terristrials yet.  I hope Patrickl can phone home and get us one.  It has as much relevance.

Why don't we turn our attention to Japan or Russia?  Do they have any elections comming up?

rchadd's people are going to back Blair again.  Howard came back for the Aussies, and Bush is back in the good ole USA.

We are kind of set for a few more years.  It's been nice, lets do it again in 2008. ;D

I phoned for a map of the Galaxy and over the whole Galaxy there was a lot of support for Kerry. Apparently there was only a tiny fraction of the population on a single planet where people voted for Bush:
