Political Thread Oath

GGKoul, Thank you. I have been lurking/reading the political posts for awhile. Its become a morbid fascination, kinda like a train wreck.
It used to be a bit interesting, sometimes funny, now it just reads as desperate and pathetic. Time for all of this mean-spirited, hateful, BS to end. Someone won, someone lost, who cares its over, life goes on. We all have our beliefs, we don't have to be right or wrong, we are all different, it's OK.
The crap that masquerades here as political discussion is just another excuse for people to try to force their beliefs on someone who will never agree with them, so give it a rest. Quit showing what asses you can be to one another and lets get on with what we came here for, a respite from all of the seriousness and chaos going on in the world.
Let's get back to having some fun, this has run its course.

I agree. I used to quite enjoy the everything else forum, but the election turned it ugly, ugly, ugly. I've posted in the car thread, and the GTA: San Andreas thread some this week in hopes that some non-political activity will restore this forum to the fun place it used to be.
Let's go back to having fun in here guys!

Yeah, I have already ducked out of the political threads. Way too much bad blood for a place that is supposed to be fun.
It really sad how divided the US is right now.

Nice to see someone else who wants these political posts to fade away. Those who don't probably have no life so by continuing to post messages that disparages others or even better, a remark along the the highly intelligent lines of 'bwahahaha", it gives them a sense of purpose. I agree that the forum has gotten out of hand and it's time to move on.
