Arggh... applying side art

I applied my centipede side art today.  I put the windex on the cabinet.  I placed the side art and squeegied out the windex.

My question is this:

how long do I have to wait before the sticker is actually stuck?  Its been about an hour and nothing.  If I screwed this up somehow, I'm considering losing my mind (if this bush in office wasn't bad enough!),

RayB:

Was the Windex diluted with water?

Tailgunner:

I'd give it at least 24 hours.

SirPeale:

You shouldn't use Windex because the solvents in it can destroy the adhesive over time.

Really??   I thought eveybody always said windex?  Does OSCAR use windex?  I thought he had (I could be way off there).

So I used it and waited over night.  Its sticking pretty well.  Well enough that I was able to remove the masking.  It looks pretty good.  There are a couple of loose spots, but I'll give it a little more time.

When I did my black vinyl, I cut and put it where I want.  I removed a small corner of the backing and then stuck the piece to the cabinet.  I then slowly removed the backing while pressing the vinyl with a plastic scraper.  I was going to use this method for the sides, but ultimately went with the windex (because you can move it around).

So I've only done one side...   how should I do the other??

Will my left side art just fall off one day??  I guess there's nothing I can do about it now.   :'(
