This is a pretty small trackball. In spite of it being a Happs I have never seen anyone talk about it. Does anyone have any experience with this unit. It could be a blessing with that small foot-print. http://www.happcontrols.com/trackballs/56020000.htm The sales pitch goes: Provides a big ball feel in a small package Combination of precision stainless steel components high-grade injection molded plastics and superior optical encoders to create a high quality compact trackball Trackball orientation settings can be changed with the flip of a dipswitch Button & USB harness sold separately Optional translucent backlit ball option Optional mounting kit available But without a review, I don't want to spend the cash. Even in the BYOAC book, the most I can find is a single throw-away line that they exist. |

Price seems pretty high.... |

I agree, very pricey. However with my original metal CP, this is the only one that would fit on there. If it had a good review, It would be worth the price to not have to open the case up and attach a mouse all the time. The exploded view shows a footprint of 2.5 inches. I could replace the original ball with a miniature 8 ball or a 40mm tiger eye sphere. and have a snazzy piece to boot. I can't believe that everything I have my eye on, I am the first person to want one. LOL |

Okay then....has anyone even used one? It looks like it is made for the mame community as it comes with PC connections. I can't believe they would keep offering this if nobody has purchased one. |

$185? They are insane. I bet people have bought it ... but not many... |
