Where to mount IPAC??

this is probably a question that is a matter of personal preference, but do most of you mount your IPAC in the control panel box or on the inside of the cabinet? I was going to mount it into the C/P box but thought that from slammin joysticks and buttons, there might be too much vibration over time that wouldn't be great for the IPAC. Anywho, let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance.

You will save yourself a hell of alot of headaches by mounting it on the control panel. No long wires, no need to disconnected everything when removing the panel, etc.

Brogner:

I've done both but prefer it on the CP. there wasn't enough room on the cp of my vertical cab to install it there. koolmoecraig is right about the long wiring and flexibility in removing the CP.

The only reason to mount it in your cab IMO is because you are going to have interchangeable panels (like me ;)).  And if you do mount it in your cab, you should come up with a good way to disconnect it.  I used flat ribbon cable to the ipac, and then DB25 ends so I can quickly disconnect the panels.

Sylentwulf:

Yeah, single CP, mount it in the CP box, there should be PLENTY of room in there.
Swappable CP's, you need to mount it in the cab unless you want to buy multiple IPac's :)
