| P360 stick will not do diagonals |

Yeah this is it, the diagonals dont work on PC or PS2. I posted here to see if anyone had maybe had this issue and knew of a workaround to get it to work. As i really dont want to send the damn thing back to incur loads more shipping fees and no doubt bloody customs getting their bit :-\ |

could be a power issue on the ps2, since it is widely known that the power line doesnt output the 5v required for the p360. maybe dropping in a resistor/voltage regulator on the 9v line and using that could help |

Yeah ive heard abot that 5V thing and dont completely understand it but certainly know its some kind of an issue. Yet this place has been selling these joysticks for quite a time now and they are specifically made for the PS2 so you would think that they would know of this issue and have taken necessary steps to rectify it. I really cant see it being the problem tbh or everyone would be up in arms about it. People do however make mistakes and perhaps something was wrongly configured/put together when the stick was made. I do have a VGA converter plugged into the 2nd memory slot though. Would that be drawing extra power meaning the joystick cant fully funtion? (VGA converter box means i can run the PS2 on a PC monitor. it plugs into a mem card slot for some power) |

I don't understand how you can't do diagonals. If the UP works and the RIGHT works, going in between to get the two of them should work. And the actuator thin side is towards the E-clip (bottom). |

Fully agree with you! Just does not make sense. But the first time i tried it out i got no diagonals whatsoever. Up,Down,Left,Right as far as ive used the stick are working fine. The actuator most definetly thin side pointing towards the e-clip which is towards my feet. No problems there. Unless they maybe used the wrong actuator. I have also tried the stick on my friends PS2 which is an older model and still the same issue. Like i say im going to use the PS2 without that VGA converter box in case it is causing any problems and will see how that goes. |
