Help for a newbie
« on: October 13, 2004, 01:18:16 pm »
Need recommendations for an effective but easy to use front end and emulator.  I will probably load about 100 old school games on my machine.  I have little interest in any of the new games.

I was thinking about the latest version of Mamewah and the lastest version of MAME.

Input pease.  Thanks.

I say go with MAME .79 and MAMEWAH .97.  To me, this combination is perfect and runs flawless.  For the games you're going to play the newest version of MAME would be overkill.
