clanggedin:

Found this on Gizmodo.com this morning: This comapany makes control panels that will connect to any console plus pc. There is no pricing on their site yet, but I am interested in seeing how much one goes for.

It would be great to see a review on one too. Too bad there is no trackball or spinner on their currnet designs..

neat find!  I would be interested in a single player version if they were to ever offer it.  Its nice to see Digital AND analog controls on the same controller.

however it looks like it may be crowded......

menace:

yikes--thats about 1 or 2 buttons away from being a frankenpanel and that 3d mode made  me dizzy--what the hell is wrong with a slow pan across the controls???

I think if they skinned it down and offered a few different models it might be better--the all in one thing just doesn't float my boat.

Bgnome:

at least it finally give people a feasible retail option for true analog play on consoles..  i wonder what the price on it is..

I checked their retail distributors in my area which appears to only be Billards and Barstools locations.

There's one about 8 miles from me.....I'll stop in over the weekend and report what I learn.

I went there once many moons ago looking for barstools.....they are proud of their merchandise....you can spend $600 on a single stool.  Cheapest they had was a $125 deck chair barstool and the staff was rude through and through.

I ended up finding the almost the exact same stool at Pier One for $28.

If the above is any indication of what to expect, I would not be surprised if that franken panel exceeds $500 with one of the cabs starting at several thousand.
