Found this on Gizmodo.com this morning: This comapany makes control panels that will connect to any console plus pc. There is no pricing on their site yet, but I am interested in seeing how much one goes for. It would be great to see a review on one too. Too bad there is no trackball or spinner on their currnet designs.. http://www.quasimoto.com/ |

neat find! I would be interested in a single player version if they were to ever offer it. Its nice to see Digital AND analog controls on the same controller. however it looks like it may be crowded...... |

yikes--thats about 1 or 2 buttons away from being a frankenpanel and that 3d mode made me dizzy--what the hell is wrong with a slow pan across the controls??? I think if they skinned it down and offered a few different models it might be better--the all in one thing just doesn't float my boat. |

There's one about 8 miles from me.....I'll stop in over the weekend and report what I learn. I went there once many moons ago looking for barstools.....they are proud of their merchandise....you can spend $600 on a single stool. Cheapest they had was a $125 deck chair barstool and the staff was rude through and through. I ended up finding the almost the exact same stool at Pier One for $28. If the above is any indication of what to expect, I would not be surprised if that franken panel exceeds $500 with one of the cabs starting at several thousand. |
