Odd, I've never had my smartstrip not turn on immediately. Once in a great while it won't shut OFF for 3-4 seconds after the computer shuts down, but that's it. I say for $30, the heavy duty, guaranteed workability AND SURGE PROTECTION (which a lot of people seem to be overlooking) is a pretty decent deal. Yeah, it's a little expensive though. |

there was quite a discussion on this here: http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=19304;start=0 i used a relay and nothing else. all power is turned on by the main switch (in my case the wall, i didnt bother putting one on the cab) and the relay allows the soft-on button to do its thing. it turns out there was a bit of luck involved as peale tried a similar thing and it didnt go. he ended up using a capacitor for the soft on |
