They have DDR and fighting competitions constantly. I've never actually went, but I've driven near it, and my gf's brother goes there a lot. I think the shore would probably be the best bet, although it's also getting colder... I know a few of the arcades on the boardwalks close themselves in for winter, so that could work. I'm not really sure about any other arcades around... there aren't any near me short of Chuck E. Cheese (if they even have games anymore). |

Is there anyone who wants to step up and either open up there house to a bunch of jersey mame psychos for an evening or plan a meet at an arcade? I would but I only have one cabinet and cant envision 6-12 guys huddled around to play. I know I will at least show up with a 12-pack and chips if that will help. |

I think for the first meeting, we'd probably be better off meeting somewhere public. Not that someone will murder anyone, but I think it would make everyone a bit more comfortable... go somewhere public, if you're not down with the group, you're free to leave. I know that's how I would feel anyway. If we hit it off, I think a meeting at someone's house would be cool. Just my .02 I think this is how some others did this as well... they met somewhere and set up other meetings at people's houses etc. Plus, at least in an arcade setting, there will be more choices. While a MAME machine can give you a ton of choices, I don't know how many people have 10+ machines and the room to house a bunch of people for a gathering. |

It seems right now like your the only one who had a good idea. I havent been to Seaside in a few years, I'm more familiar with Pt. Pleasant which doesnt have a lot to offer with classics. If you could take some initiative we might be able to get something going. |
