All-in-one Boards

I'm interested in hearing from people who have used the "All-in-one" boards in their projects; legal issues aside.

What type of interface do they typically have? Jamma?

What type of video output do they have? RGB? Composite?

Power requirements?

Ken Layton:

They are Jamma. Video output gives you a choice of the standard CGA resolution thru the Jamma edge connector or you can use the onboard VGA monitor connector (you flip a dip switch to select that feature). Standard Jamma power requirements.

bishmasterb:

Thanks for the info.

Are they typically made specific for a certain arcade manufacturer (Namco, Williams, Exidy?) or are they compatible across a wider variety of hardware platforms?

I assume they can be sourced from Asia? Do you know of any suppliers? Or where I could source a small quantity in the States?

DarkKobold:

Look for electronic amusements in the google group - he sells them

They are basically a hardware MAME, if you can call it that.

Ken Layton:

Contact electronicamuse@aol.com to purchase a board here in the USA.
