Pretty sure I nabbed this off of http://www.themexp.org/ They have a nice way of setting up new boot screens without screwing your system over. You basically add a line to c:\boot.ini, and to see if the boot works, windows gives you a list at bootup to choose which bootup screen you want. If everything works as planned, you delete the original line and keep the new one...I found it straight forward. |
