Ok, new information, I unplugged absolutely everything except the motherboard, and the power going to the motherboard, then i have the front panel wires hooked in so i can turn on the computer. When i turn it on with just the motherboard i hear no noise except the fan on the powersupply. After i just put the CPU in ,nothing else, i get a kind of clicking/grinding sound. Its like Click...ClickClickClick, like one, then 3 fast ones, it kind of sounds like black pepper being ground, like a crunch clicking sound, its hard to explain, its definately not a beep though. Just seeing if anyone knows anything about this. Thanks. |
