Dynamo control panel dimensions
spystyle:
Hello!
I was able to get an empty Leland Quarterback cabinet off Ebay for $1 + $20 shipping, groovy eh?
I couldn't build a cab for $21 :)
As you can see in the picture it does not have a control panel, and if I am to donate the dimensions to JakoBud* (as all of you cabinet owners should do) I'll need the control panel dimensions, can someone help me out?
Thanks,
Craig

Here is a pic of the complete cabinet (from the flyer)

Isn't that just an early Dynamo cabinet?
Also, they shipped you a cabinet for $20? Or did they deliver it local for that? Either way good score.

PaigeOliver,
He's delivering it from one state over (New Hampshire to Maine) as his mother is local and he likes to visit her, cool eh?
Is it a Dynamo cab? I don't know anything about 'real' arcade cabinets, I build them from scratch only. If you have any info on this cab I'd like to have it.
He's also delivering an empty Gauntlet ($50 total, see pic) expect the dimensions to be on JakoBud's site soon.
The Gauntlet had been converted to a TMNT, hopefully I can find the original sideart under there (safe stripper?)
Groovy?
Craig
I installed a spinner on James Brown!

The cut corners on the control panels are a Dynamo thing, I am unaware of any other maker who does that. Without an original panel to go by I suggest simply having the plans/dimensions made without the panel. You might also suggest an alternate version, modified to take a flat wooden panel.
THe Gauntlet probably does not have sideart. I am pretty sure Gauntlets had stickers, because I can swear I have seen many of them with the sideart half ripped off.
Just paint the sides black, most dedicated ones are missing the sideart anyway.
