I think the more 'vertical' ones are usually the US style.  Jap / UK (Aussie too?) style cocktails are a lot wider, like this Space Invaders one: http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=S&game_id=9662

I have a UK Galaga in similar style, I think the screen is 14", possibly 13" (?)

Have fun when it arrives :)

No one's answered because we're not exactly sure what cabinet you've got.  You may have a conversion, it's extremely possible.  Can you post a picture?

I wasn't being serious, I was just being my goofy, loveable self. ;D

That is one of the real nice things about a Cocktail style cab, it can double as furniture in a pinch. I think that's why the majority of them are woodgrain laminate, so that they blend in to a non-arcade environment a little better.

Dedicated cabinets are very rare in Australia. A Pac-Man with a 14" monitor is not dedicated, as all dedicated Pac-Man cocktails had 19" monitors.

Actually, more to the point almost ANY game with a 14" monitor is not dedicated, as almost no original manufacturers used that size in their games apart from Sega. (13" was a common size though).
