Slow ArcadeOS..
« on: May 28, 2002, 08:55:10 pm »
I am running ArcadeOS in pure DOS, but it's running very slow for some reason. I was trying to install the sound blaster card to work in DOS (which I still havnt gotten to work) and the menu in ArcadeOS is real slow. When I UP/DOWN to change games, it takes about 2 seconds to load the image in the background. I think that DOS isn't detecting all (or any) of my RAM, the speed is fine when I run dmame.exe from windows. Anyone know what could be causing it to perform so slow?

AMD Athlon 700 Mhz
192 Megs RAM
Sound Blaster Live! Value
ATI All In Wonder 128 PCI
