Anyone know what type of connector the 8 bit NES game console used for it's joysticks?  I've been looking for them high and low and can't seem to find out what type they are.   They must be available somewhere since the blackchopper.com guys are using them.  I need them for my atari2600 joystick/ipac contraption.
Trimoor:
Here's a novel idea: ask them.
They probably won't mind sharing their supplier, and may even sell you the connectors themselves.

Or, you could just find an old NES and take it's plugs.
(If you don't mind destroying a holy relic.)
barranger:
The information here might help, it shows all the pin layouts for the NES controller.
Bgnome:
you might need to find extension cables and cut em up.  thats how i do it when i make psx adapters.  this is something i found with a quick google search:

Well of course I thought of that.  I thought I might ask here first.  Someone always seems to be able to answer these sorts of questions.  If I end up not finding out I will end up doing just that.

I wouldn't do that.  Although I don't consider the NES a holy relic.  I think I am too old.    ;)

Robotron 2084 however, is a shrine not to be tampered with.
