I've got what looks like a very similar cab. I'm thinking of two panels. One has 2 sticks with 4 buttons each. The other has the trackball and a 4way with three buttons. I just couldn't stand having things so crowded. Bob |

is player two going to be ok with the reverse layout (buttons on the other side)? seems like that might be hard to get used to. |

I'd have to agree with most other people's comments. You're going to have trouble getting used to both P1 and P2 controls. Let's say you get used to the stick left hand, buttons right layout of P1 while playing alone, and so does a friend. If you want to play 2 player, neither one of you is going to want to switch hands for the P2 layout. Also, there's no place to rest your palm as your fingers are hitting buttons. I'd either go with two sticks, buttons same for each, or 1 stick and a trackball. |

Thanks for the comments everyone. Oddly, it doesn't feel crowded at all. The hand switching thing is no problem for me, I'm used to the keyboard anyway, and my other cab has a right handed stick. --- Quote ---Also, there's no place to rest your palm as your fingers are hitting buttons. --- End quote --- That's the only thing that bothers me now. I'll try to find a way to move the buttons up. Thanks! |
