Artwork
« on: August 30, 2002, 04:45:51 am »
My mame cab is coming closer to completion and it's now time for me to get the artwork sorted - The cab is just a generic cab with grey sides, it screams for some artwork.
I have the actual printing side of things sussed. What I have in mind is for something original - It's a generic cab so I think generic side art,
-Something along the lines of, A black background with the MAME logo, some other logo's and pictures of some charactors etc. from games. Would anyone have any good pictures they could mail me with?
                                    OR
-Does anyone have some already done artwork they would be kind enough to give me (Of course I could print two and send you a copy!)
  Thanks all!

Snaaake, I've seen your CP art in another post - it's pretty cool, do you have side panel art as well?

what you mean side panel art?
like the one goes in the sides of your cab?i dont have any myself but check this bad boy out.

not mine..  we all know who made this but in case you didn't know. :P

go here..maybe you will find your way  :o

www.leafstation.com

personally,my plan is to cut out the pics of magneto from original x-men side art(capcom vs version).then use those.

Because it will cost TOO much to print somethin very professional.

these are the onces i am planing to cut then use..i will get rid of x-men logo..so people wont think its only 1 lame game.x-men suck by the way.so i will only keep magneto.
i suggest you look around on ebay..i got this for $15 shiped.
for both sides.

Hi guys:

I've organized my files a little bit... now everything kinda in its place for now.... (but I'm already running like 97% full on my 15M free storage at geocities...)  :o   :P   ???   :(

for now... you can go to...
http://www.geocities.com/hyiu/pics
click on Arcade and artwork....

I have to zip up most larger files (although it only save just tiny bit of space...) cos I'm also over quota.....

anyone knows any free space on net for me to post these stuffs ??  thanks,  ;)

Xmen sucks?  That's probably the most horrible statement I've ever heard.  The original Xmen video game was the last and greatest of the multiplayer beat-em-ups.  Not only that but to my knowledge it was the only 6 player arcade machine ever made.  Xmen rocks, the only multiplayer game besides it that could even rival, it's greatness is the orignal tmnt.

And fyi that is not Xmen sideart, it's X-men COTA  (children of the atom) sideart.  This particular Xmen game was the first that started the great superhero fighter series by capcom.  It was groundbreaking in it's own right by single handedly restarting and killing the 2d fighter era all in one swoop.  Now how many games can you think of that killed and saved a company at the same time?

Ok that's my history lesson for the day.

x-men rules because you gotta be always against me.

however if you liked the 6 players xmen game then i am with you.i did not really really liked the game but its okay.
i rather play some cps1(I.E. cadillacs and dinosaurs) games.

but otherwise the game X-MEN COTA is horrible.the game has less then nothing to offer, end of story.

go practice some marvel vs capcom 2,if you know how to play then i bet you will love that game.it has game play that requires skills..you cant just mash buttons and expect to win.

gotta learn how games work man.learn the combos and sooner ar later you will know that x-men do suck  :)
