Pinout for k72-t
« on: May 24, 2002, 06:49:25 am »
I am trying to find out the pinout for the each of the 40 pin connectors on the ke72-t. I am working on putting together all of my cables before I upgrade my arcade controlls.

I just completed my cab using a hagstrom ke72t.

Each 40 pin connector on the ke72t provides 4 grounds and 36 hots.  I suggest using an IOX36 breakout board which makes wiring nice and neat.  depending on the number of buttons and joys you have, you may need more than one breakout board.

Are you wanting to know specifically which pins on each 40 pin connector are ground and then numbered 1-36 and 37-72?

If yes, write again and I will check my board and provide a further report.

Steve

The 2 pins, top and bottom, furthest right and left of each 40 pin connector are grounds. This gives you (4) grounds for each 40 pin header.

Inputs are numbered as follows (where G=GND):

Header 1:
G 2, 4, 6...32, 34, 36 G
G 1, 3, 5...31, 33, 35 G

and

Header 2:
G 38, 40, 42...68, 70, 72 G
G 37, 39, 41...67, 69, 71 G
