How about placing a sheet of metal behind the door with screws or bolts and then cutting out the opening for the coin door. That sould give the door the support it needs. |

maybe some metal bracing or an interior frame to strengthen the front wood piece. would the coindoor look funny installed with such a small amount of clearance at the top and bottom? |

I wouldnt think so, considering the cabinet and the coindoor are black....but i dont know. |
