| Xiaou2:
i believe that there are a few different sets of roms that need to be burned with the appopriate board. ie: some boards are bootlegs, and need the bootlegs roms burned for them - else they do not work correctly. I also need my outrun roms burned... however... i cant seem to understand which romset i need for my boards. Any outrun experts willing to help? |

--- Quote from: JoeB on August 23, 2004, 10:50:29 am ---That's not very helpful. :( For example: IC34 OPR10209 I need to know the actual memory chip type. E.g. 32 pin 27C1001 (1Mbit) with 150ns speed or faster EPROM. Also, some ROMs/EProms have different pinout. So the pinout needs to match as well (or otherwise, get ready to lift pins and run new wires!) --- End quote --- The chips are 28 pin. Pins are 3mm apart. The top reads: SEGA MPR-10377 831000-20 337 BK 8710 Z82 The under side says H2 in 1 circle, 1 blank circle. I did a search for the chip # and I found one made bt Fujitsu 831000-20. I could not find anything on the speed of the chip or any pinout info. If you know of a place to find it let me know and I will look it up. Thanks, Patrick |
