I am planning on countersinking the mounting plate and putting laminate over it. Do I need to make sure I get a special trackball? I hadn't heard of that before. |

I hadn't heard of that before. --- End quote --- http://www.happcontrols.com/trackballs/56010011.htm The high lip has a 1/8" taller lip than the original 1/16" (for a total of 3/16"). AKA Golden Tee TB, because the GT CPs changed from 1/16" metal to 3/16" at some version. The same amount of ball shows above the top of the lip. The mounting plate is 1/16" thick, so if you're going to add any thickness over your CP, it's a good idea to get the high lip version. |
