I went to the creepy old pinball/arcade store, and bought an "aero Fighters" cab for $50. It's so funny to look at; it's so skinny! It's in surprisingly good condition, but it hase no PSU, so I can't test it. The marquee is just a thin printed mylar insert, with glass over it. I opened up the marquee box, and look what I found! Incandescent! Very nice over/under coin door. It has a key stuck in the coin return slot, and I can't get it out! From the side: It has a gameboard and a very nice Nintendo monitor (no burn!) Now for the hard part: What should I do with it? MAME it? Restore it? Convert it? Obviously I will try to get it working before I do anything else. The guy told me it was originally a "toobin", so it's not an ultra rare unmameable game. Overall, the cab is in very nice condition. A few light scratches on the side, cracked plex on the CP, but nothing too hard to fix. Nice? |

could you please take DETAILED measurements of the cab for me? Ever since I saw a Toobin' cab a few months back I've wanted one. Better yet, where do you live? I'd probably buy it from you if you'd let it go. As for what to do with it, I personally would mame it but with the whole Toobin' theme. |
