What is easiest working way to set up jamma in this cab?
the3eyedblindman:
Well, I already have the cab almost done, the artowrk is being made, the tv is bought, the computer is built, so it will finish. The jamma is just a side thing i wanted to do in the cab after the mame is up and running. Its just im not exactly sure how, i have an idea, but i dont want to screw it up and be able to play nothing. I have a question though, would golden tee work fine emulated? because alotta games like blitz are emulated, they just dont run good, but games like world class bowling, which is a trackball incredible technoledgies game, works fine in mame, so i was just curious if golden tee, lets say golden tee 99, was emulated, would it run good?
pointdablame:
Like I mentioned, I think some newer versions of GTG were/are actually emulated, and run well. They have just been taken out of MAME because they are still so commercially viable.
I've obviously never played the emulated versions, but I do seem to recall someon saying that they played ok when they were still in MAME. Doesn't really matter though since MAME doesn't support the games anymore.

Does anyone have an old "game" set with golden tee in it ? Like before it was taken out of mame, id like a copy.
I think that World Class Bowling would be a money maker, i always see those right next to golden tee machines in restaurants and whatnot. We should start like some kind of a "request sheet" with all our names somehow and send it to mame, saying how golden tee is very much wanted. We should start with 99, i dont think it would go well if we wanted like 2005 fore or whatever right off the bat, cuz i doubt 99 is still a moneymaker, its pretty old now.

The MAME Devs will not support it until it's time. They do not want to hurt the industry or bring an end to MAME as we know it. Why not play PC versions of these games? They are readily available and should look decent on your TV.
Requesting ROM sets, is a major no no arround here.
Dude good luck

PC versions arent real arcade games, i want the real thing, i think any kind of console or anything else in the cab takes away from the real arcade feel.
