Guns for MAME

For guns you may want to get positional guns (ebay) and wire them to a Microsoft Sidewinder Dual-Strike game controllers. Positional guns are like a gun mounted on top of an analog joystick. "1UP" , the creator of this interface has instructions on his site for doing this.  Check the examples page, it's a rather new site.  My guns (from a Steel Gunner) are nearly ready to be mounted to my cabinet.  Optical guns seem to be a problem at this time. I wouldn't be surprised if optical gun support/function is available for MAME in the near future.

Here's a link to 1UP's page if you want to know how positional guns can be connected.

Act Labs will be releasing a USB based light gun that is MAME compatible during June. Hit their website for more information.
