Hagstrom ME4 problems
« on: May 30, 2002, 07:50:27 am »
Got everything wired up correclty in my cab, but when I install Mandrake 8.2, I much prefer Linux to DOS, I lose the spinner, but the trackball and buttons still works.  Is it something with the driver, or is there something I am missing about the board itself that causes this. Oh sorry the spinner is an Oscar Pro designed for the Hagstrom ME4.  I know the computer is at least reading the spinner, because if you turn the spinner the pointer shakes on the screen, it moves back and forth just a bit, but only if you move the spinner.  Thanx for any help.

If is seems to move 1 pixel back and forth, you may have loosened a connection somewhere.  That is the type of movement you would get if one of the optical sensors is not working.
