Non-emulated games that are great in an a cabinet

As an idea.... I was wondering what games are worth looking into adding to a cabinet.

Some fighting games got ported... but most of those are emulated (and I don't see a reason to run a port when I have the original).

but the robot fighting game (forgot name)

Golf games?  Any good ones that you can use well with a cabinet (especially ones that use joysticks only)

Black and white I want when I redo my trackball... Seems like the 1 player would be fun... don't know about the motion spells.

Any other ideas?

There used to be a game in 1995 or 96 called "Crusader no Remorse", and the sequal "Crusader no Regret".  Both were dos games, both used the keyboard/joystick for movement.
Also the new breakout game from Atari.  It is keyboard/joystick too, and 3d which might be interesting.

I also thought about using keymouse with Diablo/Diablo2 which would be kicking on a cabinet.

The crusader games are great but they arent suited well for a cabinet.  First off they require a mouse too, in a rather odd method that might not translate well to a trackball.  Secondly the text on those games is tiny tiny tiny, and it's crucial that you can read it to solve puzzles, so unless your using a vga monitor your s.o.l.

Btw I LOVE these games, I just realized a long time ago that they wouldn't work for an arcade cab.

ELITE.

Really bad game for a cabinet due to all the keys required.  But such an awesome game I might have a keyboard available in my cab purely for this game.  ;D

BTW I know it's emulated on various systems.  Just thought it was worth a mention :)
